Valentines Day is right around the corner, and Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays are getting in the mood with our red dresses. Check out Keren’s blog for the details on her beautiful red sweater dress and those awesome thrifted Michael Kors booties.
I honestly own very little red pieces, although I have nothing against the color red. I thrifted this little red dress in Los Angeles last year, and have been waiting for the right occasion and place to wear it. I would say Valentines Day is the perfect reason to pull this little number out.
I went with these silver BCBG heels to bring out the red some more. You are not going to believe me when I say that I purchased these heels from DSW for only $11.98 in the clearance section. They were 80% off. While shopping with a friend, she spotted them first but they didn’t fit quite right for her, and she passed them along to me. Thrift Gods follow me everywhere, even in the retail stores! What an unbelievable score. Believe me, this is not the last time you are going to see these heels. They are simply FAB to me.
I completed this look with these gold and silver sequins clutch, purchased from a Goodwill in Beverly Hills for $4.99. Yes! That is correct, there are thrift stores in Beverly Hills. This is a very chic and classy look. Best of all, I did not have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to look great.
