Putting together a stylish outfit does not have to take forever. Blazers are quintessential pieces to have in your closet. They literally can pull an outfit together in a few minutes.
I thrifted this plaid blazer at a San Diego Salvation Army for $4.25. I have mentioned this before, but it’s worth saying again. Blazers are so easy to find at thrift stores and you can’t imagine the savings in buying a blazer at a thrift store rather than retail.
I paired this blazer with a basic tank top and my black high waisted jeans as I wanted the blazer to be the star in this outfit. You have definitely seen these black high waisted jeans before, of course styled very differently. These awesome jeans were thrifted at a San Diego Goodwill and cost only $5. Crazy right!
Completing this outfit was super easy. I love my BCBGMaxazria red and black heels and they were the perfect pop of color for this outfit. I have a thing for these heels and try to wear them as often as I can. They made their first appearance on the blog in this post. These heels cost a mere $7.99 at the Goodwill. Perfect look, perfect price.
The other star in this outfit is this grey fedora hat. I picked up this hat at a Goodwill in Los Angeles for $3.00. I don’t normally wear hats. Not sure why not, but I feel as though I can never find a hat that looks right. I love this hat though! It fits perfectly and is definitely a great time saver when I don’t want to do my hair! Some quick accessories from Goodwill completed this very simple but chic outfit.
