Yes, I know I can sometimes make thrifting look super easy.ย It would appear that I can walk into a thrift shop and always find something cute, unique and of course, at a great price!ย For the most part, I do find thrifting rather easy, therapeutic and know that I can always find something. ย However, the one item that can be a definite headache to find in a thrift store, are jeans!
Thrift and consignment stores tend to have a very LARGE selection of jeans.ย That is definitely a positive.ย However, the jeans are not organized by size and of course include a multitude of designers.ย That is the negative.ย Searching for your perfect fit and size is definitely like finding a needle in a haystack when searching for jeans because you might have to try on about twenty jeans to maybe get one.
I rarely thrift jeans because I too have a patience limit in thrift stores.ย I know, I know!ย The Thrift Diva with a limit for thrifting!ย However, I did say rarely, I didn’t say NEVER!ย I simply have to go into the thrift store knowing that I would only be looking for jeans– I call it my “Jeans Day”.
And the winner of a recent “Jeans Day” outing is this super comfortable JustFab boyfriend jeans that I got from the Salvation Army in San Diego for $4.99.ย These jeans retail for $39.99.ย These were the fourth jeans I tried on that day.ย Since they fit so awesome, I literally stopped my search, paid for them and left.ย No need to get a headache when I clearly lucked out so quickly.
I used these boyfriend jeans to dress down this gorgeous sequin top that I had thrifted from the Goodwill for $14.99.ย On the rack it can definitely remind you of someone’s grandma shirt.ย But, to me, this shirt is DIVA and CLASSY all in one.ย If you have been following my blog, you know that I am that girl to rock sequins anywhere at anytime.ย I definitely don’t follow the traditional sequin wearing rules as you can see here or here.
I completed the look by adding my Goodwill thrifted pink Elle heels that have definitely graced the blog in these outfits here and here.ย Of course, a cute clutch (purchased from TJ Maxx for $9.99) that matched the colors of the shirt perfectly was all that was needed.ย Cheers to “Jeans Day”.
First of all, I LOVE your hair! I really love how the details in the short match the shoe color perfectly <3
Love your outfit, girl! That shirt is super cute. <3
You are adorable! I love your style! And jeans anywhere are hard to find….

I love the outfit! I think my lack of patience definitely is why I don’t thrift much. But I’m always willing to go back out and give it another try, because I’m also really stubborn ๐
The colour of those shoes are my most favourite colour in the entire world lately. It’s not purple, it’s not pink, kinda fuchia kinda not. They’re an all year round type of colour too, I think.
Love the bright shoes with the top! Such a fun outfit. Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog. You totally made my day.

You seriously live up to your blog name! Great finds! Shopping for jeans is hard in an organized store! Can’t even imagine the headache thrifting for jeans! But you landed on some good ones! You are rocking them, and then some!!
Super score! I love the jeans but those shoes are to die for!!
These look really cute on you! I’m always iffy about boyfriend jeans because I’m pretty petite and I’m afraid they’d eat me up. ๐
Love this look, sis! I don’t thrift jeans much either. It’s very time consuming, but when you find a great pair it seems worth it, lol. You look great!

You look so nice! Jeans are hard in general. I can never find a good pair of jeans without being ticked off. However, I have the best luck at Ann Taylor every time, clearance section of course. Great look!

Love the colors! I have yet to buy jeans when thrifting. It will be my challenge next time I go!
I can imagine buying jeans at regular stores is very hard, let alone thrifting them. But this pair fits you beautifully. I am in love with that classy+beautiful sequined top and the stunning hot pink heels.
P.S. The latest outfit I linked up this week to you & Keren’s link up features sequins, too.
I can’t decide if I can pull off boyfriend jeans. I usually have to stick with skinny jeans since I’m so short. These look so great on you!
