I am not even sure if colored skinnies are still in trend, however, the awesome thing about having your own style is not caring about following trends all the time. I love these mint skinny jeans. They scream spring, they fit perfectly, and they complimented this thrifted vintage sweater perfectly.
Here’s one way to make a basic sweater look chic, polished, and very stylish. I own a ton of sweaters because I am that person who is always cold. Although spring for most is about ditching the sweaters, I will probably still be wearing my lighter sweaters or a jacket until late June. But, I am always looking for different ways to dress up my basic sweaters.
The holidays are upon us! This is my favorite time of the year, but it can also be very hectic as I prepare for my entertaining and of course, shopping for the best gifts for the loved ones in my life.

Ross Dress For Less has a great selection of gift items for the men on your list at fantastic prices. Thanks to a gift card provided by Ross Dress For Less, I did some shopping for the number #1 guy on my list – my husband.
Great selections of sweaters, cardigans, dress shirts and jeans were just a few things that I was able to select for him. Besides these items being very fashionable, I was all about the great prices for my many finds. Since the prices were so great, I of course was able to pick up additional things that I knew he would love to receive on Christmas day.

It’s all about these fashion tights in this outfit. I literally built this outfit to feature these fun tights. It’s also a great thing that the weather in San Diego is still very mild (upper 70s and 80s), so I can definitely get away with wearing this outfit both during the day and evenings.
I picked up these tights from Ross Fashion For Less for $4.99 as an impulse buy as they were right next to the register. You guys already know about my love for Ross as seen here and here and here. Their thrifty prices on fashionable items speaks volumes to my budget conscious needs. Honestly, I have never worn tights like these before because I have always lived on the east coast.
By the time, fall hits in those parts, there is no way I wanted exposed skin for the sake of looking cute. However, the beautiful San Diego weather has allowed me to step up my fashion game and try out more fall trends. Thus — these tights!
Heading out for ladies’ night, I figured I could test drive these tights. Of course, a mini skirt was a must since I wanted to show off the pattern in the tights. I thrifted this black Express skirt from a Goodwill in Los Angeles for $2.99 — can you say score! Going for some color, I went with this red cowl neck Banana Republic sweater, thrifted from the Salvation Army for $4.00. I added a striped long sleeve shirt underneath. Of course, that black and white striped shirt was only $1.00 at the United Cerebral Palsy thrift store. I have a thing for stripes and buy them all the time when I am thrifting. They are perfect pieces to make an outfit stand out.
I completed this outfit with these booties from Ross Dress For Less for only $16.00. They are super comfortable and of course, you can’t beat the price. If you haven’t visited a Ross store yet, you are definitely missing out. By the way – this is not a sponsored post, although the way I am carrying on about Ross, you would think otherwise.

How to rock bold prints? This week Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays, and I, are confidently rocking bold prints. Please check out Keren’s blog to see the details of this awesome and chic printed pants suit.
I am wearing this beautiful printed midi skirt that I recently got at a swap exchange. Swap exchanges are great ways for me to clean out my closet and get new pieces for FREE! In this case, I brought in about 32 pieces, but only left with 12 pieces. This is great, as my closet was overflowing, a huge NO NO for me. Yes, I do have a lot of clothes. But the minute I can’t put anything else in the closet, it’s definitely time to give or sell things. In this case, I considered it a donation to a church.
However, I was super excited when I spotted this printed skirt. You already know that I die for color, as you have seen here, here, and here. Perfect length and best of all, pockets! You can never go wrong with a great skirt that has pockets. Winning every time :).
Fall is slowly creeping into San Diego, but slowly. I decided to pair my bold printed skirt with a short sleeve sweater. I thrifted this sweater from Salvation Army for $2.50 during 50% off sale. I love the loose fit, the color and of course, the great PRICE.
I completed this outfit with my brown Tildon booties that I picked up from Nordstrom Rack for only $35.00. Don’t you love the gold heels? These booties are super comfortable and versatile.
Have you tried rocking a bold print lately?
