Summer is on the horizon, which means vacation time. When I think of easy packing for vacation, I think maxi dresses. The family and I took a Caribbean cruise a couple of months ago, and procrastinating when it came to packing, I defaulted to pulling mostly maxi dresses for the trip. If you are not already a fan of maxi dresses for vacations, then I hope to convince you. No matter what your body type, the maxi style is flattering on everyone, and even more a must have for vacation.
This week, Keren of Two Stylish Kays, and I, are MIXING PRINTS!
I have had these Aztec printed pants for about a year. I got them from Forever 21 during their end of season clearance for only $6.99. I absolutely love the colorful Aztec print and wear them often with various colored tops. However, this is my first time wearing these pants with a patterned shirt. My “Uber Cute” shirt was a thrift find. I purchased this striped tee from AMVETS for only a $1.00. I have told you before, that I don’t pay more $2.00 for thrifted tees. I know, I know, I sound really cheap! Maybe I am. But, so far I have not had to bend the rules – yet! I loved how this mixed prints outfit turned out. Honestly, stripes just goes well with anything. Not sure you can go wrong in using it when mixing prints. Any opinions on that?
I wanted a casual but chic look, so I added this thrifted cross body pocketbook. I thrifted this cute little black purse from the Salavation Army for $2.50. To complete the look, I slipped on my black and white sandals from Lulus which I purchased on clearance for $19.99.
