It’s Wednesday, so we know it’s time for our weekly Thrift Sisters link up! This week, Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays and I, are rocking printed dresses. Head over to Keren’s blog to see the details on this very funky and chic animal printed dress.
I found this little printed dress at Buffalo Exchange, one of my absolute favorite consignment shops here in San Diego. I have to be honest with you guys though. I was shopping with a friend when we both saw the dress. She immediately thought that it would be perfect for me, but I wasn’t too sure. She insisted that I at least try it on before discarding it, and I relented. However, once I slipped this printed dress on, I immediately fell in love with it. It pays to shop with a friend sometimes.
The print is amazing in this dress. The faux leather bands are awesome. The asymmetrical cut, simply fabulous and makes this dress pop. And, best of all, the price tag of only $7 because it was on clearance at Buffalo Exchange, simply cannot be beat.
I went with this black and gold Jessica Simpson clutch from Ross Dress For Less which only cost $9.99, marked down from $39.99, on clearance. Gotta love a great clearance rack. It’s the first area I go to when I go to any store as the savings often can’t be beat.
I paired this dress with these leather open toe booties that came from Nordstrom Rack — on clearance. I guess I should have named this post “The Clearance.” You have seen these booties before here. I think they compliment the style of this dress very well. Have you styled a printed dress lately? If not, you know my mantra. Check out your nearest thrift or consignment store to see what awaits you.
Now, it’s time to jump into our Thrift Sisters link up! Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays and I launched our Thrift Sisters link up, encouraging you to post thrifted or thrifty priced items to this link up. We are very appreciative of those who take the time to link up their great outfits. This week’s featured Thrift Sister is the beautiful Ksenia from K’s Lookbook. We especially love how she styled this dress with the scarf! She surely has given me some ideas for my next scarf outfit. Check out her blog for great thrifty style inspirations.
Now it’s your turn to join us this week. Please note that you can still link up with us even your items are not thrifted. We are looking for your favorite thrifted OR thrifty priced item. Go ahead and link away for a chance to be featured as our next featured Thrift Sister!
