The last in the mixing patterns series, well for now. I absolutely love polka dots. I believe they are ultra classic and can make all outfit look so chic! They are also super easy to spot in a thrift store, making my job easier in finding them in packed thrift stores. Don’t take my word for it, try searching out for them in your next thrift excursion and you too will see how they jump out at you, if they are there on the racks.
So, when thinking of showing off another pattern mixing outfit, I knew I had to do the classic combo – polka dot and stripes. Here, I paired a thrifted Gap blouse with a thrifted Forever 21 striped full skirt. I love these pieces as separates and they come together so beautifully when mixed. Jazzing up the outfit a little, I added some pops of color with a thrifted yellow skinny belt. Can you believe this belt was .25 cents? Yes, I did thank the thrift gods. I added these yellow peep toe pumps to add more color to the outfit. You may have seen these pumps before HERE. Also, adding to the pattern mixing, is this beautiful and bright (and, of course, thrifted) clutch, tying in the yellow in the outfit.
