I found this perfect little Rome and Juliet Couture cream dress at My Sister’s Closet, a consignment store in San Diego, during their end of the season sale. I scooped it up for $20. Yes, this dress probably retailed for about $150, but, shopping second hand will always save you money. My last post featured another fabulous acquisition from this consignment shop as well.
You ever go shopping and try on something in the dressing room, and while checking it out in the mirror, everyone tells you that you MUST buy it! This dress had no choice but to go home with me. As soon as I slipped it on, I loved it immediately. The flirty ruffles, the fit, the color — it was the perfect little cream dress for me. The absolute best part about purchasing this dress was the absolutely very reasonable price of $20. The best feeling of finding the perfect piece while thrifting is knowing that when you look at the price tag, you won’t be breaking the bank.
I went with these peach strappy Steve Madden booties that I bought from Macy’s end of season clearance as well. I love shopping clearance, probably the only type of shopping I do in retail stores. I actually had my eyes on these heels for a few months, but we all know patience is a virtue. I was finally able to get them for a seriously discounted clearance price at $15.89. Yes, originally $125, and a few months later, only $15.89.
To complete this outfit I paired it with this BeBe clutch that I received as a Christmas present a few years back. Won’t you say this was the perfect pairing with this little cream dress and peachy heels?
