eShakti floral dress + thrift link up

eshakti and thrift sisters link up - thrifting diva It’s all about this gorgeous, floral dress in this post right here!

Both Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays and myself were recently contacted by eShakti, an online women’s fashion clothing website, to try out some pieces from their website and provide a review.   I had seen a few bloggers provide reviews of some pieces from eShakti, but I had never ordered from this company before, prior to eShakti contacting me.

I was given wide latitude to choose whichever piece I wanted free of charge and then provide my honest feedback of the piece.
eshakti and thrift sisters link up - thrifting diva eshakti and thrift sisters link up - thrifting diva In my opinion, the coolest thing about this company is the ability to literally have your clothing custom made, at a very reasonable price.   Every item you choose is customized to your height, size and style.  I choose this beautiful floral dress with a brunch date in mind (I know, I buy clothing for specific events :)).   I was able to customize the neck line, the sleeves stye and even the length of the dress.   They even had the ability to add or remove pockets.  Although, not sure why anyone would want to remove pockets from a dress, but, at eShakti, your wish is their command.

You should know that every item is available in sizes 0-36W.  Now, to top that off, the customer service was impeccable and my dress was delivered in less than a week after I placed the order.

This dress fit like a glove, truly customized for me!  A beautiful cotton material with bright saturated colors, just how I love it.  If you haven’t given eShakti a chance yet, you should definitely check them out.  To help you purchase something at a great price, you can use the following promo code to receive 10% off your order: THRIFTDIVA until August 31st.

Check out eShakti’s Pinterest or Facebook page for more style inspiration.

Since I was able to customize my neckline to have a lower cut, I added this statement necklace that I thrifted from a Salvation Army for $2.  eshakti and thrift sisters link up - thrifting diva eshakti and thrift sisters link up - thrifting diva

Now, let’s jump into our second week of our Thrift Sisters link up!  As you might remember, Keren Charles and I launched our Thrift Sisters link up, encouraging you all to post thrifted or thrifty priced items to this link up.  We are very appreciative of those who took time out to link up their great thrifted items.

This week’s featured Thrift Sister is Wendy Derilus of JustJewels4U.  Her awesome thrifted sequin dress is simply GORGEOUS!

  1. I love your dress from eShatki. I need to checkout their website. I love the fact that they offer customized clothing. I’m short and small so I could really benefit from this site.

    1. Sonya,
Thank you! Yes, you should definitely check them out. A lot of my shorter friends are raving about that customization option for them. If you get something, I definitely want to see it.

  2. I love this dress! It’s so pretty and your shoes go with it so well! I love how customizable eShatki is- you can come up with so many different dresses from the same basic design!

  3. I was intimidated to link up with you guys because I certainly don’t thrift to the professional level that you guys do! But what a great point about remixing this skirt! Remixing could be my way to “thrift!” I love remixing and bringing the price per wear down!
Now this dress on you – amazing! Such a perfect fit and love the “brunch” appeal that it has!

    1. Carylee,
Intimidated —- girl you are a DIVA, never a need to be intimidated with us! You are absolutely right about the price per wear theory. The whole point in thrifting is to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE and look awesome. Remixing accomplished that same goal and you do it very well!!!! Also, thank you for the compliment on my dress. Girl, I love this dress:)

  4. I love how fun, bright and on trend both your dresses are! Glad you found the fit worked out well. I love the idea of eshakti, but I’ve gotten a couple custom pieces from them that did not fit right at all.

  5. Ayana, this is your brightest, boldest, prettiest, best look yet. What a stunning dress. Love the print, shape and colors. Your gorgeous shoes are perfect for this. You both look stunning in your lovely florals. =)

My pleasure linking up for the first time. Please come check out my special remix post, today. =)

Have a Fab Weekend! <3 Ada.

    1. Alex,
Thank you! That sucks that they don’t deliver internationally, but I would say that is probably a temporary thing. Keep on the look out for them to see if they deliver internationally later.

  6. Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after checking
through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m
definitely glad I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back often!
