Both Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays and myself were recently contacted by eShakti, an online women’s fashion clothing website, to try out some pieces from their website and provide a review. I had seen a few bloggers provide reviews of some pieces from eShakti, but I had never ordered from this company before, prior to eShakti contacting me.
I was given wide latitude to choose whichever piece I wanted free of charge and then provide my honest feedback of the piece.
In my opinion, the coolest thing about this company is the ability to literally have your clothing custom made, at a very reasonable price. Every item you choose is customized to your height, size and style. I choose this beautiful floral dress with a brunch date in mind (I know, I buy clothing for specific events :)). I was able to customize the neck line, the sleeves stye and even the length of the dress. They even had the ability to add or remove pockets. Although, not sure why anyone would want to remove pockets from a dress, but, at eShakti, your wish is their command.
You should know that every item is available in sizes 0-36W. Now, to top that off, the customer service was impeccable and my dress was delivered in less than a week after I placed the order.
This dress fit like a glove, truly customized for me! A beautiful cotton material with bright saturated colors, just how I love it. If you haven’t given eShakti a chance yet, you should definitely check them out. To help you purchase something at a great price, you can use the following promo code to receive 10% off your order: THRIFTDIVA until August 31st.
To complete this “oh so chic brunch date look”, I paired it with these thrifted pink and orange Apt 9 slingbacks that I picked up at a local Goodwill for $6.99. They are a perfect compliment to this beautiful dress don’t you think? This thrifted orange clutch is so spot on with the shoes and the orange in the dress, that it was a no brainer to complete the look.
Since I was able to customize my neckline to have a lower cut, I added this statement necklace that I thrifted from a Salvation Army for $2.
Now, let’s jump into our second week of our Thrift Sisters link up! As you might remember, Keren Charles and I launched our Thrift Sisters link up, encouraging you all to post thrifted or thrifty priced items to this link up. We are very appreciative of those who took time out to link up their great thrifted items.
This week’s featured Thrift Sister is Wendy Derilus of JustJewels4U. Her awesome thrifted sequin dress is simply GORGEOUS!
Now it’s your turn to join us this week. Please link up your favorite thrifted or thrifty priced item. Here are the rules and go ahead and link away!
